Vinted

I joined an early-stage startup working out of a tiny two-bedroom flat and quickly got swept up in the insane growth. I managed local projects, helped launch the first app, and created hit Facebook ads that landed me as design lead. From there, I built a small team, tying marketing and product design together for this second-hand fashion unicorn.

  • Project manager → Marketing Creative Design Lead

  • Team leadership — Design management — Visual direction— Content design — Project management — Social media strategy — Creative strategy — Content creation — Graphic design

  • Became a designer and then a design lead after my ads were recognized as the top performers by Facebook.

Start: A project manager

I began as a local project manager for the Lithuanian market (manodrabuziai.lt at the time), and after Vinted secured its first big investment, I joined the mobile team to help launch the first mobile app. In the early days, I wrote PR articles, showcased our second-hand market ideas at events, and even hosted workshops at festivals as part of our local recognition strategy. It was a fun and creative time—filled with fashion and crafty people. Starting in 2012, I truly believed this small startup could become something big. And it did—it became a unicorn.

As a self-taught designer with some Photoshop skills, I stepped in when we were short on design resources. The banners I created earned Facebook’s recognition as top performers at the time.

Design lead

I worked on the world’s first Instagram ads, organized photoshoots, managed print and digital design, and even contributed to key investor pitches. It was a time of endless creativity and growth.
